Using MinGW GCC 4.3.3 for Python 2.5.4 in Windows XP/7. https://github.com/develersrl/gccwinbinaries/releases/download/v1.1/gcc-mingw-4.3.3-setup.exe
The method used here to extent Python with C is from http://www.tutorialspoint.com/python/pdf/python_further_extensions.pdf
Notepad++ makes a cameo in this video. If you use it, make sure to set its TABbing default to "convert TAB to 4 spaces" for both your Python and C code.

See Joseph's video for the original code. I'm just copying what he did on his UNIX system to see if it works on my Windows 7, which is basically programming in Python and running in Jython which opens some Java GUI goodness. The trick was, I had to download and install the Java Development Kit from Oracle. I only had the JRE version installed (which is like the Walmart version of Java).

Lots of people have posted their problems, over the years, with missing Win32 modules, when running their EXE programs they converted from Python using Py2exe. None of their posts received answers. So I had to rough it and figure out a fix on my own.
And so here's my easy fix in HD.
